It is finally here, an affiliate program that you can now use to start making money without having to
work at it. Simply create a link from your web site to ours and we will take care of the rest. As you
know our referral rates are staggered, so the more you refer the more money you earn. Commissions range
from 5-20% on all non-reseller product purchases your referral makes for life. To take advantage of this feature simply create a link to our web site that looks like the following: http://chambergates.com/default.asp?src=YOURACCOUNT; where YOURACCOUNT is your account name. If you have forgotten your account name, you can find it by looking at one of your invoices or in the subject line of your Welcome Letter. We hope to have some nice graphics for your use in the near future. If any of you are graphic designers we are accepting images in exchange for a 1% commission on all sales that result from referrals from your image. | ALERT: New limits placed on web statistics | ||||||||||

As many of you know we do not place any limits on your bandwidth usage and we do not charge extra for
high usage. We are very proud of this fact, as most web hosting companies simply cannot offer this
value-add service. Therefore, due to the success of this policy, we have come to host some very
popular web sites on our shared platform and they in-turn have some very large log files; some sites
are actually exceeding 100Mb per log file per day. To minimize the impact of this, we have decided to implement a new policy on parsing of log files for use in your web statistics. This change should affect less than 1% of our customers. Effective immediately, the web statistics program will no longer parse files that exceed the limits defined below. If your log file does exceed this limit, you will be sent an email detailing this fact. If you decide later to upgrade, we can then parse your older log file to complete your statistics. New Daily Log File Size Limits:
This new policy only affects the web statistics, and in no way implies that we will throttle your web site or make your site less accessible. | ||||||||||

| ALERT: Changes to ActiveX Components and EXE policy | ||||||||||

As many of you know we currently allow for Custom COM objects to be registered on the system for a small
setup fee. This feature has been available to our Silver, Gold and Platinum customers since
ChamberGates inception. To stay inline with the hosted services marketplace, we are now updating our
policy. ActiveX component installations will now require a Gold or Platinum plan; however, the setup
fee will remain the same. We have also expanded this policy to include a new option of creating EXE directories. In these directories you can place your own compiled files for use with your applications. This will save you the time of skipping the review process and allows unlimited files with no additional setup charges. EXE directories are currently only available to our Platinum customers. | ||||||||||

In February 2001, ChamberGates decided to initiate growth by introducing a special where you could
purchase a year's worth of hosting for less than a $100. The promotion was so successful that we
extended the offering for 16 consecutive months. With the introduction of the "Try Us For Free"
promotion for new customers and the new affiliate program, it is no longer necessary to retain the
Bronze Special. Due to the elimination of this promotional offering, you will now start seeing the
benefits of your reselling immediately, as discounts and commissions are applied as the order arrives. You may still receive the Bronze special pricing by purchasing a two-year term. That's right, for $196 you can get two years of great web hosting, this rate will not be discounted for resellers. | ||||||||||

| INFO: Premium Web Site Migration Status | ||||||||||

| The migration of all Silver, Gold and Platinum customers is still under way. As long as you are not using IP addresses, your customers will never know that you switched servers. There will be an overlap period where your web site will be on two different servers, which will allow those of you who control your own DNS an opportunity to make the required changes. Your uptime guarantee still applies during the migration and you should not expect a minute of downtime. | ||||||||||
