Is ChamberGates Family Friendly?
Absolutely. ChamberGates does not support pornography or hate speech and we never have. We do not conveniently look the other way when our customers break these policies like some of our competitors. We also do not allow porn or hate speech on our co-located servers or dedicated servers like most other web companies do. With ChamberGates you know you are supporting an organization that cares about the world in which it operates.
What happens if I exceed my bandwidth limit?
You will be contacted about upgrading your account with us to the next highest level. Then if you choose to not upgrade but lower your bandwidth usage that is fine too. However, if you choose not to upgrade and you exceed your limit again we will ask that you upgrade your plan or terminate services. Basically this would all happen over a course of 60 days giving you plenty of time to make your decision.

It should be pointed out that we do NOT stop your web site nor do we limit the amount of traffic to your web site when you exceed your limits. We also do NOT charge any extra fees for exceeding your bandwidth, but we will ask that you upgrade your plan.

What happens if I exceed my disk space limit?
You will be contacted about upgrading your account with us to the next highest level or adding additional disk space to your account. Then if you choose to not upgrade but lower your disk space that is fine too. However, if you choose not to upgrade and you exceed your limit again we will automatically bill you for the additional disk space used that month. We charge $10 per month for an additional 250Mb of disk space.

It should be pointed out that we do NOT stop your web site nor do we block your ability to modify your web site when you exceed your limits. No extra fees will be billed to you without contacting you first.

How do I get help with my account?
We have people on staff ready to answer your questions no matter if the issue relates to billing, sales, or support. We also have provided these FAQs to assist you in getting answers quick. If you can not get an answer online then please feel free to contact us.
Do you provide Internet access?
We do not provide Internet access for the simple reason that we believe that servicing our hosting customers should not be just a high priority, but our only priority.
Do you accept non-business accounts?
All of our packages can be purchased for personal use.

What do I need before I can have a web site at ChamberGates?
You will need to have access to the Internet, and a way to place files onto our servers via FTP or Microsoft® FrontPage®.

Yes. You can upgrade your plan at any time and do not even have to wait till your next billing cycle. Basically you will be charged the difference in setup costs (if any) and the prorated difference in plan prices for the duration of your current billing term.
